Our Supporters

The Computers for Schools Program could not exist without the support of a large number of government departments (federal and provincial), private corporations, varied organizations, and individuals.

We gratefully acknowledge the following supporters:

Governments

Government of Alberta

Both the federal and provincial levels of government provide computers and financial support. We are especially grateful to Industry Canada, which created and continues to support the national program; to Alberta Education, which provides office space, financial support, and guidance; and to Service Alberta which plays an invaluable role in channeling surplus provincial computers to the program.

Companies/Organizations

The following provide exceptional support to Computers for Schools either by volunteering (TELUS Ambassadors), donating computers (TELUS, Royal Bank, Shell Canada, ATCO-Itek, Esso, Bell Canada), authorizing installation of software (Microsoft Canada), providing transportation (CN, FritoLay), or by "getting the word out" about CFS (APEGGA, ACCESS the Education Station).
