Evergreening CTS—Summary of Curriculum Changes

In response to feedback received since the CTS program was implemented in September 1997, curriculum changes have occurred in a number of CTS strands. The following charts provide a summary of curriculum changes, effective September 1999–2005.

    • Details regarding these curriculum changes are provided in the current Program of Studies and the 1999–2003 amendment packages available for the Guides to Standards and Implementation (GSIs) in these strands. Each amendment package provides replacement pages for the 1997 GSI that communicate course changes that were approved subsequent to provincial implementation. The revised documents are available for purchase in print format through the Learning Resources Centre (LRC) and in electronic format at the CTS section of the Alberta Education Web site at http://www.education.gov.ab.ca/k_12/curriculum/bySubject/cts.
